Okay ... so I am on my second visit to planet fitness. I got to the gym late and asked the 2 workers behind the desk what is the last appt time for tanning. I was told 8:30. So at 8:29 I went over to the desk and the sign up sheet was turned over. The guy behind the counter totally blew me off and said everything is shut down at 8:30 and I was not able to go into the booth. Not really a big deal but he proceeded to walk away from me and ignore me when I asked why they didn’t suggest I use the bed when I came in. I walked to the other side of the desk to speak with him and he again moved to the other side. I asked his name and he ignored me. I asked again and he ignored me again. I asked louder what his name was and he said he wouldn’t answer me because he said it three times. I proceeded to tell him I am deaf in one ear and with the music it is hard for me to hear unless someone is looking at me. Not really a judge free zone? Not very nice way to treat someone with a disability. I could not believe how rude. When I said I am deaf and he was being extremely rude he looked at me and said very loudly A U S T I N. Did I understand that? If he was my son I would be so embarrassed and angry for him treating someone that way. Not a good start here at Planet Fitness. What is the cutoff time for the extras? Just would like to know ...... oh and tv’s shut down at 850?
